Hello, my name is Diangelo Wilson.

I’m a 32 going on 33-year-old African American working towards the goal of someday being a professional whether it be playing in the sports world or writing as a journalist for the sports world.   And I do mean literally playing the game.  I’ve ventured around the world a little bit, not a whole lot but I do understand a little bit about life, so I play with as much enthusiasm as possible.  Playing in the NBA for the Lakers has always been a dream.  Since high school, I have attained 3 degrees: Associates in Criminal Justice, Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice, Master’s in Business with a Concentration in Sports Entertainment and now working on a Master’s in New Media Journalism.

Right now, I bet you are wondering!!! How he go from Criminal Justice, Business with Concentrated in Sports on to New Media Journalism? Well, up until now I have been undecided on what I want to do career wise. To be honest I’ve always been passionate about basketball. Up until now, I didn’t know where I fit in or if I was just dreaming. Now going down the road to becoming a journalist, I can see myself like Superman. A journalist during the day and a pro hooper during the night.  Well in whatever case it maybe, I’ll be there in midst of all the action. All I need is one foot in the door and journalism just may be my ticket to reaching for the stars.  Like Kobe says after stealing cookies from another player on offense "And We’re Off".
