Earvin "Magic" Johnson

Born on the 4th of August 1959 is one of the NBA's most dominant point guards of all time, Earvin "Magic" Johnson won multiple championships in his day along with now being the Vice President of Basketball Operations for the Los Angeles Lakers.  Just like he dominated the court, Magic Johnson is now dominating the business world for instance Magic has created his called Magic Johnson Enterprises with a good deal of his work dedicated towards the development of urban communities, along with bringing business opportunities in undeserving communities.  Right now, Earvin "Magic" Johnson is the Los Angeles Lakers President of Basketball Operations.  To be where he is, and to have accomplished what he has, takes a great deal of competence especially in the areas of negotiating.  "Magic lacks front office experience, although that can be minimized if he surrounds himself with the right cap experts and scouts.  He obviously knows the game and the league and he'll need to use the sharp negotiating skills that have served him well in the business world since retirement" (Powell, 2017).

3 Interview Questions

1.  How has he handled the pressures of life since he first announced that was positive for HIV?

2.  What's it like being the Lakers Vice President of Basketball Operations, having won many championships in the past with the team?

3.  What advice would you give for someone trying to make a name for himself in the entertainment business?

Since Earvin Magic Johnson plays for my all-time favorite team of the Nation Basketball Association, I figured that it would be a good idea to do some research on him since he is the key to changing the fortunes for the Lakers.  Magic Johnson having won 5 NBA Championships throughout the 80s, just like my other all-time favorite player Kobe "Bean" Bryant.  To go from being a player to now running the organization means a lot.  Earvin "Magic" Johnson is the definition of success.
